There is nothing worse than having a problem with your version control software. Normally you can just nuke your checked out code and re-check it out, but sometimes (like in my case right now) that's not an option because you have loads of site-specific settings and folders in place. There are all sorts of horrible suggestions on the Internet about fiddling with the SVN database, finding records, wiping repositories, oh God, somebody make them stop talking! In reality, all you need to do is check out a fresh copy of the affected directory in to /tmp, delete the broken one and move the fresh copy to where the broken one was. Easy! =)
